Most of our members are part of a Class Group. We trace the concept of these small groups back to the emergence of Methodism as a radical inclusive renewal movement that swept across the UK in the eighteenth century. Before Methodists began to meet for Sunday worship, they would gather midweek in small supportive groups where they could share journeys into discipleship, explore faith together, pray and support each other. Today our Classes still do the same and are an essential part of SOMC. Groups meet in a variety of formats, locations and times. Contact our minister to enquire about joining a class.
