 Selly Oak Methodist Church welcomes to our church the Birmingham Methodist District when it holds its Synod here on September 11th |
|
| Those
who have been to the church recently will have seen that we are
carrying out some improvement work. We apologize for any inconvenience
this causes but it should be finished by mid September. The improvements have included, a new boiler, recovering parts of the roof and including much better insulation, improved disabled access to bring it up to the latest fire regulations, improved roof drainage to stop leaks, new fire doors, and new front window as the original frame was rotten. for World Mission are running a competition inviting stories of
connections between Methodist Churches in the UK and projects overseas.

| Selly Oak Methodist Church is a welcoming church that sets out to respond to the gospel of God's Love in Christ. The congregation includes a strong core of local people together with the students of the Methodist Society of the University and visitors from many nations. | Our Church is raising funds to pay for a water supply for a village in Kenya. Various fundraising events are being held so please support them. The total to date is over £6000 |
