HARVEST FESTIVAL

Sunday September 28


Gifts for

THE FIRESIDE CENTRE

which provides daytime shelter and a meal for disadvantaged people

and

THE SOUTH BIRMINGHAM YOUNG HOMELESS PROJECT

for starter packs given to help in moving to new accommodation

may be brought at 10 a.m. on Sat Sept 27 or on Sunday morning.

Flowers (brought at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning) will be welcome and will afterwards be given to the elderly and housebound.

HARVEST SUPPER

Saturday Sept 27 from 5.30 to 7.30 pm

Everyone is welcome to share friendship and a simple meal of bread, cheese and fruit (with donations of whatever you can afford for the B30 Foodbank).

This will be followed by entertainment suitable for all ages.

IF you enjoy a challenge, we would love people to bake bread and bring it with them to the supper. Any not eaten on the night will be shared after worship on Sunday.

Please sign the list in the Welcome Area so that we know how many to cater for.

£1.50 per child / £2 per family.

Coffee/Tea served, together with toast/fruit/juice for children.

TUESDAY OPEN HOUSE

A SOCIAL TIME FOR THE OVER 60S

10 a.m. to 12 noon, meeting in the church lounge.

A chance to talk to old friends and make new ones over coffee, tea and biscuits (and sometimes cake!) with optional activities.
