Knitted Nativity

Many members of our community have helped to knit a nativity set, which is now spending Advent travelling around the places where we live, work and worship. You can follow its progress on the Selly Oak Methodist Church Facebook page.

Planning to be 50

In 2016 our church building will be 50 years old!
On Saturday 24 January 10.30 - 12 noon, church lounge we will have a time planning our celebrations.

Stay & Play

All are Welcome, come to play, chat and have fun. 

Tuesday mornings 9.30am till 11.30am (term time), Selly Oak Methodist Church, Langleys Road, Selly Oak.

£1.50 per child / £2 per family. Coffee/Tea served, together with toast/fruit/juice for children.

Tuesday Open House

A social time for the over 60s

10 a.m. to 12 noon, meeting in the church lounge.

A chance to talk to old friends and make new ones over coffee, tea and biscuits (and sometimes cake!) with optional activities.

Selly Oak Methodist Church is a welcoming church that sets out to respond to the gospel of God's Love in Christ. The congregation includes a strong core of local people together with the students of the Methodist Society of the University and visitors from many nations.
