A Study group which meets on Sunday mornings from 9.30am until 10.15am in Room 3

The Sharing And Learning Together group has continued to meet before the main service on Sunday mornings. It has been good to hear about the spiritual journeys of some of our friends from overseas and nearer home and to share in study and discussion about parts of the Bible and matters of Faith. We have been ably led by a range of people from within the Selly Oak community and the organisers are most grateful for their support and input. The programme for the Autumn series follows. We do hope it will be well supported. Discussion is always lively and the meetings provide a good opportunity for sharing experiences, concerns and thoughts in a non-threatening atmosphere. New-comers are always welcome and each session is a unit so that attendance can be occasional or regular. Kerstin Eadie and I have been arranging the SALT programme for many years and feel that after this year (i.e. from autumn 2009) we must hand on this responsibility to others, whilst continuing to give background support. It could be that the time has come to rethink radically this bit of the Selly Oak diet and ideas as well as offers of help would be welcome. It would be appreciated if anyone with either would speak to Kerstin or me as soon as possible.
