Our
church community has a ‘tradition’ of welcoming.
Friends old and new, visitors from both near and far, and of course all
who come to worship with us in Selly Oak, Birmingham. On this occasion
we welcome you here and hope that this will become a new opportunity to
keep in touch and share news, for even without the internet, SOMC is
already a truly international church!
Sunday Worship
Sunday
services are at 8.30am, 10.30am and 6.30pm
For details of who is preaching and when Holy Communion is being
celebrated, please check the church diary above.
The Zimbabwe (Shona) Fellowship
usually meets every Sunday at 12.00 noon except on the first Sunday of
the month when they join with the rest of the congregation for the
communion service.
Sunday School meets as part of the 10.30am
service. A Creche is also available at the same time for very
young children.
Just as the people
visiting, worshipping, or connected in many other ways are both local
and international, so too is the 'fabric' of the church building itself.
