| Partnered with Whizzgo cars to station a hire vehicle on out car park. These cars are available for short term hire for those who only have a limited need for a car. It is estimated that one car may save up to twenty people buying their own vehicles |
| Also on the theme of transport we are keen to encourage cycling. We have therefore fitted rack near the entrance to the church. |
| As educating people on reduction of carbon is one of our aims we intoduced into the church library a number of "green" books. We aim to have at least one on display each week. |
| The Church runs a group for people from overseas. In partnership with CSV Environmental we have had visits to places of environmental significance such as Cannock Chase and Sutton Park. This is to introduce them to our natural environment. |
| The congregation includes many allotment holders and gardeners. We encourage people to grow their own food and once a year arrange a gardeners market. This is well supported not only by the church but also by our local neighbourhood. |
| In the main entrance to the Church we have what we call the "Green Machine". This is a collection point for recyling about 14 items. These are items not collected by the Council but things that a usueful to other people. |
Examples of the things we collect are:
- Spectacles
- Knitting wool
- Pill boxes
- Egg boxes
- Foreign coins
- stamps Candles

| Items often go to charities. We have collected nearly 2500 pairs of spectacles. After being sorted by prisoners in this country they are given to Sight Savers International who distribute them in countries in need. |

| We have produced a leaflet showing all the items we recycle. We revise it from time to time but you are welcome to download it and modify it to suit local circumstances. |
