Rangers is for girls aged 14+. The girls plan their own programme, enjoying a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Rangers meet in the church hall on Monday evenings from 8.00pm to 9.30pm – contact Karen Edwards via email.
Guides is for girls between the ages of 10 and 14. They learn to work together as members of a team in a wide programme including craft, outdoor pursuits and role-play activities. Brownies is for girls between the ages of 7 and 10. They meet for fun and to learn to work together as a team as well as individually. Brownies meet in the church hall on Tuesday evenings from 6.15pm to 7.15pm – contact Sue Yeomans via email.
Rainbows is the youngest age group of the Guiding movement, for girls aged between 5 and 7. They promote learning, friendship, building and play and is aim to instill confidence in small girls so that they bond and play together on an equal footing without barriers or prejudice.
